What is clinical reflexology?

Clinical reflexology is a complementary therapy carried out by someone who is thoroughly trained, and has passed exams including in anatomy and physiology, as opposed to a short course. As such I trained so that I could become a member of the Association of Reflexologists to offer clients professional clinical treatments aimed to aid in a multitude of physical issues as well as emotional. A clinical reflexologist completes a full consultation with you and will devise a treatment plan specifically for you as a unique individual.

Sessions will involve working with the feet, as the feet have reflexes that map to the entire body. Massage and pressure will be applied to these points. The pressure will be to suit the client, and it is a relaxing treatment. The aim is to rebalance the body and bring about the body’s own natural ability to heal. I have a modern hydraulic reflexology chair/bed to increase your comfort levels during treatment. I use 100% natural ingredients aromatherapy reflexology wax to leave the feet feeling nourished.
