My Story

I started my career in care work, and then went on to have various jobs before working for myself in online retail. However, I have always felt the pull back into a role where I can help people, coupled with my passion and interest in the workings of the mind, I was drawn to retraining as a therapist and counsellor. The ability to provide people with solutions through therapy, or just a non-judgemental ear, enabling them to reach their goals, is the most rewarding work there could be. I continue to further my knowledge and training on a regular basis.

My ethos is to provide a safe, calm, confidential, friendly, patient and non-judgemental environment where my clients are able to open up to me about whatever issues they have, and we can work together on making positive changes.

I can be flexible with appointment times, offering some evening appointments as I know trying to fit in appointments around work or family life can be difficult. I offer face to face appointments, online therapy or walk and talk sessions.

I am a qualified level 5 Psychotherapist and counsellor, accredited hypnotherapist, advanced practitioner in BWRT,  and a licensed practitioner in Mnemodynamic therapy and NLP.  I can also offer life coaching.  I am a registrant member of the National Counselling society and National Hypnotherapy Society.

I am an Anxiety UK Approved Therapist, providing therapeutic support to the charity’s members and partner beneficiaries.
